Today I went running with some of the Team C.R.U.D.  guys in Colorado Springs(pics).  The six of us went out and put up a few markers for next weekends 50k the Ponderous Posterior.  This is not and easy course to navigate with minimal markings and serious private property issues to boot.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a good number of runners are going to get lost.  All that said, it is a beautiful course with lots of fun rolling single track and great views. 

We covered 26.5 miles of the course in about 5hours. My Garmin stopped, so I don't have much information about elevation gain. On the run, I brought two water bottles and three gues to get myself out and back.  One of my water bottles leaked until it was empty and with only one water bottle I couldn't stomach any more than half a gue. It was a long day.

On the home front, I love hand me downs! Our good friends Jimmy and Christina Bevan gave us the mother load of baby clothes.  Our little man should be living in style for a least the next year.
