The Calm Before the Storm

This is going to be an explosively competitive year for trail running.  The Colorado Front Range is packed with fast runners.  Everything about this sport is getting bigger.  Last year in comparison, you just had to know a hand full of names to cover the top five finishers for most races.  It's not going to be anything like that in 2012.  We will see course records drop and races filling with no time to wait. The new names and faces that we pick up at the starting lines are going to be the very same people posting top five finishes when everything is said an done.
